We are all aware of the devastation caused by bushfires across the country and in particular closer to home in Victoria. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, the firefighters and other relief personnel.
The Melbourne Sandbelt Clubs have joined forces with the Victorian Government and will hold a Bushfire Appeal Charity Golf Day on Monday 27 January 2020 at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club, on the Presidents Cup composite course. A gala dinner function in the evening will feature an auction of donated products and services. The event has already sold out and we have received tremendous support from the golfing community.
The clubs have also developed an online auction and we encourage Members to share the link with family and friends. Every dollar raised will go to local families and local communities as they begin the long process of recovery. Best of luck in the bidding and give generously.
