The Sunday Spring Match play is an opportunity gain match play experience and to represent VGC.

There is a weekly team of six players and two emergencies.   Play generally starts between 11.00am–12:30pm.   The proposed dates of the competition are 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 August and 14 & 21 September.   

Last year, players were rostered on for 2-3 matches of the 7 available.    After the competition, the teams go into the club house for a small snack and a chat.

Please register your name by Monday 23 June.

Availability dates will be emailed in early July and final details, and the draw will be emailed to participants on Monday 14 July.

Player eligibility and competition notes:

• Open to players with a GA of up to and including 30.
• Players must play at a good pace and keep up with the group in front.
• The selection of the weekly teams is at the discretion of the Women’s Committee. 
• Preference will be given to members who work and/or members who have not represented the club in other competitions.
• Once a player has been selected for competition, it is the player’s responsibility to arrange an emergency if they are no longer available to play. 
• This is a team event, so it is expected that all players will remain on course until all players have finished their matches.
